Dr Shahnaz Khan B.Ch.D (UWC)
Dr. Khan earned her dental degree at the University of the Western Cape in 1995. After graduating from university, she went to live and work as a Dentist in Norfolk, England.
Whilst in the UK, she completed a year long implant course and advanced restorative courses in cosmetic dentistry headed by some of the most internationally renowned dentists including Dr Hilt Tatum (Dental Implant Pioneer), Dr Stuart Orton-Jones (International lecturer on Quality Dentistry).
In 2002 she returned to Cape Town and took over Kromboom Dental Centre. She has worked and trained to build a practice that meets and exceeds your expectations of trusted, personalized dental care. She focuses on bringing her patients only the best that dentistry has to offer by keeping herself and her staff informed on the latest advances and techniques in dentistry. With over 20 years of dental experience, in 2018 she joined Dr Marian’s Paradise Road Dental Practice.
Her practice philosophy is to provide quality dentistry in a caring, respectful, efficient, and professional manner. She practices comprehensive dentistry by creating a direction for each patient based on his or her needs. Dr. Khan is passionate about learning and enjoys taking business, communication and marketing courses. She truly loves being able to help people, whether it is through helping them obtain beautiful and healthy smiles or being able to relieve their dental pain. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and takes great joy in her profession and has a particular strength in helping patients overcome their dental anxiety.
Dr Nazier Natha B.Ch.D (UWC)
Dr. Natha graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2004 and then completed his community service in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. He has since worked in upmarket, highly reputable private practices in areas such as the Foreshore, V&A Waterfront and Three Anchor Bay where he worked alongside highly experienced dentists and treated both local and foreign patients from all over the world. He also owned his own practice in Camps Bay in 2012 and joined Dr. Marian’s Paradise Road Dental Practice in 2018. He enjoys all aspects of general dental practice and enjoys seeing patients from the very young to the more senior citizens but his main focus is in the fields of Cosmetic (Aesthetic) dentistry, Crowns and Bridges, Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment) and minor Oral Surgery (wisdom teeth). He is also responsible for seeing the after hour emergency patients at the practice and is on call 24 hours a day.
With his friendly and open approach, Dr. Natha found he was having many nervous patients referred to him and helps make visiting the dentist a positive experience. His commitment to his patients and never ending endeavors toward excellence and integrity has contributed to his success. Dr. Natha loves helping people, and treats every patient with kindness, respect, and appreciation. He believes that each person is unique, and strives to understand the needs of each patient in order to fulfill their dental need with compassion, quality care and artistry.

In pursuit of excellence, Dr. Natha is constantly expanding his knowledge base and keeping up to date by attending numerous professional development training days in Cosmetics, Crown and Bridge and Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment). He aims to provide a high standard of dentistry in a friendly and comfortable environment and views communication and education with patients a high priority. With years of experience and a light hearted approach, Dr. Natha makes visiting the dentist an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.

Tiyhana Churches
Tiyhana graduated from the University of the Western Cape with a degree in Oral Hygiene in 2014. She is an experienced practice development leader with over 10 years of customer service expertise. Tiyhana worked as a periodontal hygienist for 4 years before transitioning to an multi faceted role where she does clinical oH work, operations and practice management at the practice.
Having this clinical background helps her with day to day management of the practice and she is able to assist patients with any queries they may have to create the best possible visit for our patients.
Tiyhana works closely with our dentists to create and foster a unique patient experience that reflects the clinical philosophy and professional goals of our practice. She is also responsible for the continued development of our SOP’s, a proven resource for our team to implement the systems and protocols necessary to run a successful dental practice.
Tiyhana’s charismatic personality, combined with a passion to advance the practice through personalized patient care, makes her a trusted and valuable asset to PRDP.

Luqmaan is a qualified DA registered with the HPCSA. He is here to make your experience in our practice as easy and stress-free as possible and has a knack for making patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.
Working alongside the dentist, he assists with many of the procedures and treatments you’ll receive at our office. He is dedicated and looks forward to building a relationship with you and your family. He stays up-to-date with the newest and best technology in order to serve you better and finds great satisfaction in being part of a team that helps our patients feel comfortable and happy about their smiles.
