Dr Shahnaz Khan - B.Ch.D (UWC)

Dr. Shahnaz Khan graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 1996. After gaining nearly 7 years of valuable international experience practicing in the UK and completing an advanced implant course, she returned to South Africa to acquire Kromboom Dental Centre, expanding and transforming it into a true hub of dental excellence. In 2018, Dr. Khan further expanded her vision by acquiring Paradise Road Dental Practice from the late Dr. Marian, proudly continuing his legacy of providing a vital 24-hour emergency dental service to the Cape Town community and beyond.

Deeply passionate about holistic healthcare, Dr. Khan is certified in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) and Myobrace Therapy, viewing every patient through an airway-focused, whole-health lens. Known for her warm demeanor and vision for compassionate care, she remains dedicated to leading a practice where clinical excellence and patient well-being go hand in hand

Dr Mu’min Taliep - B.Ch.D (UWC)

Dr Taliep graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2011 and has spent over a decade providing holistic, patient-centered dental care. After completing his community service at Maitland Day Hospital in 2012, he entered private practice in 2013 with a focus on comprehensive dental restoration.

Highly competent across all areas of general dentistry, Dr. Taliep has advanced expertise in airway-focused dental therapy, implant dentistry, and orthodontics. He combines technical precision with a gentle, communicative style, ensuring even the most anxious patients feel heard, comfortable, and fully involved in designing their treatment journeys

Dr Sabeehah Patel - B.Ch.D (UWC)

Dr. Sabeeha Patel earned her dental degree from UWC in 2010 and built a strong clinical background through roles at 2 Military Hospital, Tygerberg, Red Cross Children’s Hospital, and SAMWUMED. In 2015, she furthered her clinical scope by obtaining a Post-Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Patel integrates comprehensive dental care with advanced facial aesthetics, focusing on non-surgical facial rejuvenation, wrinkle-relaxing treatments, and dermal fillers. Dedicated to lifelong learning and staying ahead of industry advancements, her gentle and holistic approach helps patients achieve healthy, confident, and radiant smiles.

Dr Chrislie Niehaus - B.Ch.D (UWC)

Dr. Niehaus earned her dental degree from the University of the Western Cape in 2019 and completed her community service at Ladysmith Provincial Hospital in 2020 before entering private practice in Cape Town.

Dedicated to creating a relaxed and welcoming clinical experience, Dr. Niehaus offers complete general dental care for the whole family. Alongside general practice, she focuses on aesthetic dentistry and facial aesthetic treatments, including anti-wrinkle therapy—continually advancing her skills to complement healthy smiles with natural aesthetic enhancements.

Lameez Patel - Oral Hygienist Dip OH (UWC)

Lameez is the heart of our team. She received her Diploma in Oral Hygiene from the University of the Western Cape in 1999 and is a certified Oral Myofunctional Therapist (OMT), and Myobrace Educator. Inspired by her own children’s experience with breathing and muscular disorders, Lameez is passionate about bridging oral hygiene with OMT—guiding young patients through Myobrace therapy and helping patients of all ages chew, swallow, and breathe correctly for optimal long-term health

In addition to preventative care and myofunctional therapy, Lameez offers professional teeth whitening treatments to help patients achieve bright, radiant smiles safely and comfortably. Known for her incredibly sweet, kind, and naturally cheerful spirit, Lameez has a unique gift for making every patient feel like a long-lost friend.
